The first few days

Well,
I made it! The flight was a piece of cake, it actually went by incredibly fast. I got quite a bit of sleep so I was able to stay up through our first day here. After we arrived, we rested, ate some good lunch, and took a walk with the Morgan's (the Oxford house parents). We toured the town and took a ton of pictures (I'll put them up soon) until it started raining. We stopped in on Turf's Tavern, a local secret, where a men's singing group from Brown College was performing. Basically, we acclimated ourselves a bit to the town, and then finally settled down for some MUCH needed sleep!

Right now it is finals week for all the students. The coolest part is that they have to dress up for their finals, and most wear robes....much like the ones you would see in Harry Potter :) I am glad to know that people really do wear those robes and it's not just one of those movie fantasies. Oxford is AMAZING, I can't even begin to describe the rich history is has here. The people are different, but intriguing. So far, I love it!
